Introduction
The Little Albert experiment was conducted to see if fear can be learnt through classical conditioning. The participant in this experiment was an infant called Little Albert who was subjected to certain fear-provoking stimuli paired with a white rat. The study was able to prove that fear can be learnt through association. However, major ethical rules were violated in the study, which would be criticized and opposed by today's ethics review boards.
