Income measurement refers to the process of determining the profit or loss. In general terms, income refers to the amount that is left with the business after deducting all the expenses of the business. Though the main objective of determining the income is the same for every company, that is to know the profits and losses, however, the method of measuring income differs from company to company, depending on their business.
