Answer to Problem 1RQ

The thermal energy inside the earth is leads to volcanic eruption, and lava flows, pyroclastic debris, and gas are all the byproducts of magma.

Explanation of Solution

A volcanic eruption brings materials from inside the earth to surface of the earth.

The three different kinds of products of an eruption are lava flows, pyroclastic debris, and gas. Lava is molten rock, lava flows downward through the sides of the volcano like a condensed liquid, and lava gets cooled on the ground.

Pyroclastic debris is seen as ash, lapilli (plum sized material), blocks (fragments of pre-existing rocks), bomb (apple sized rock material). When the volcanic eruption happens, which sends volcanic gases into the atmosphere and the gases eruption are water vapor, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide.
