Database management systems (DBMS):
It is computer software for creating and managing databases. The DBMS provides a way for the users to create, update, retrieve and manage the data present in the database. It also supports the administration and use of the database on different platforms.

Explanation of Solution
Database:
It is a well-organized collection of data which is stored and accessed electronically with the help of a computer. The data is organized into rows and columns in a table and in an indexed manner so that it can be easy to find the appropriate information. The data present in the database gets updated as data is added, deleted and expanded. It is an electronic filing system organized fields followed by records and finally into files.
