Summary Introduction
Photosynthesis is the biochemical process in which sunlight and carbn dioxide (CO2) are utilized for the production of oxygen, sugar and water. Plants use a process of converting light energy to chemical energy, which can be released later to fuel the activities of organisms. This process is termed as photosynthesis. The energy is produced along with the sugar in this process by water and carbon dioxide. The water splits and creates energy storage compounds, like ATP as well as NADPH.
