Introduction:

Cells are exposed to many forces (physical forces mainly). Cell movement, internal transport and cell shape all require structural support which is provided by cytoskeleton. The components of cytoskeleton extend and interconnect plasma membrane to nucleus in eukaryotic cells. The cytoskeleton contains microtubules, intermediate filaments and actin filaments.
