K-strategist: These are those types of organisms that are able to provide energy for their growth and survival, they produce very few offsprings and take care of their offspring and protect them from predators
r-strategist: These are those type of organisms that invest their energy in production of large number of offspring so that the probability of the survival of their offsprings is more. No parental care is observed.
