Introduction:  Living cells are made-up of macromolecules as well as micromolecules. Macromolecules such as DNA, RNA, and proteins play a prominent role in the origin of life. Nucleotides are used to build the DNA and RNA. Amino acids are used to build the proteins. The origin of cells can be understood through four overlapping stages. According to these stages, nucleotides and amino acids are organic molecules which were present before cells came into existence.
