Summary Introduction

Introduction: A phobia is a type of anxiety disorder that causes a person to feel exaggerate, irrational fear about a situation, thing, living creature, place, or an activity. There are three types of phobia seen in people, namely social phobia, agoraphobia, and specific phobias. The phobia begins mostly at ten years of old. The symptoms of a person suffering from phobia include a sensation of uncontrollable anxiety and not being able to do anything when exposed to the trigger. The symptoms include abnormal breathing, trembling, chest pain, sweating, nausea, headache, and dizziness.
