What are the two principal aspects of product quality.
Explanation of Solution
The product quality is defined as the degree of excellence of the product on which the thing possesses. The actual need of the product or service is satisfied by providing its features, characteristic elements and attributes.
Quality has two different aspects for the manufacturing products.
- 1. Product features
- 2. Freedom from deficiencies
The product features can define the characteristics of the product, which are the aesthetic and functional features are intended to satisfy the needs of customer. The freedom from deficiencies is the quality aspect, which means that the product can provide what it is actually supposed to do. Such products should be defects-free, no sub parts are missing, and out of tolerance conditions.
