Sleep is divided into two phases: “NREM and REM”. R stage is also called as REM stage and is the fourth stage of sleep. Sleep is generally a repeating state of brain and body, described by the change in consciousness. Sleep inhibits all voluntary activities, sensory activity, and decreased communications with the surroundings. A person should have an average sleep of seven to eight hours, so that his mind and brain can work properly.
