Chapter 4, Problem 7A
Summary Introduction
Introduction:
The brain organ consists of various cells like microglia, neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. The microglia cells are phagocytic and engulf the foreign pathogens which can cause infections. The neurons consist of axon, dendrites and cyton and conduct the impulses in the brain through the generation of action potential. The astrocytes are connected to the neurons and form the structural framework of the neurons.
