Diabetes is a condition in which blood glucose increases abnormally. Glucose is the main energy source in the body. Insulin is a hormone secreted by the pancreas that allows glucose from food to enter into the cells. This condition is of two different types that are Type I and Type II diabetes. The body does not make insulin in type I diabetes and it does not use insulin well in type II diabetes.
