The value of $T_m$ should be determined along with the excess heat capacity at T = 308 K. The intrinsic $\delta C_P^{\mathrm{int}}$ and transition $\delta C_P^{trs}$ excess heat capacities at T = 308 K should be calculated.

Concept Introduction:

The mathematical expression for the standard enthalpy change value at room temperature is:

  $\Delta H{°}_R={\displaystyle \sum \text{n}}\text{H°(products})-{\displaystyle \sum \text{p}}\text{H°(reactants)}$

Where, n and p represents the coefficients of reactants and products in the balanced chemical equation.

The enthalpy change of reaction is calculated by the following expression:

  $\Delta H={\displaystyle \underset{T_1}{\overset{T_2}{\int }}\Delta C_p}(T)dT$
