An analog ohmmeter is an instrument that displays the reading with the help of a needle that points towards the marking on the ohmmeter. It measures the reading from the right to the left. The readings obtained from the ohmmeter are not very precise. Before using an ohmmeter, the circuit should be disconnected from the regular power source; otherwise, it may result in damage to the ohmmeter and injury to the user.
