Solution: Theo Chocolate embodies the concept of sustainability

Concept Introduction: While preserving the environment and society, the economic development that generates the wealth and meets the need of the present generation so that the future generations also meet their needs is referred to as sustainability.

While measuring an organization’s social, environmental and financial performance is referred as the term triple bottom line. This is also called as three Ps: People, Planet and Profit.

Explanation of Solution

The concept of making chocolates in the sustainable way was embodied by Theo Chocolate. Initially, other companies manufacturing chocolates by using high quality sweets in its preparation which make the chocolates rich in carbohydrates and thus leading to the problem of obesity and inability to lose weight.

However, Theo Chocolate uses a very different way of making the chocolates which made its carbohydrates content very less. They used bean to serve the chocolate bar production which are produced naturally through organic farming methods. Moreover, the production of chocolates does not even harm the farmers and environment which again is beneficial for the society.

Thus, the practices followed in Theo Chocolate reflect the concept of sustainability.
