Job-order costing system: Job-order costing system is a cost accounting method in which direct costs and other indirect overhead costs are allocated to individual product or service or batch of products or services. It is used when products manufactured or services provided are different from each other.

Predetermined overhead rate: Predetermined overhead rate is an annual rate for allocating or assigning indirect overhead costs to the goods or services.
