Case summary:
Mr. K is a 57-year-old male patient diagnosed with respiratory failure due to complications from the pulmonary surgery. The student nurse along with a staff nurse is assigned to care for the patient. The student nurse can observe that the patient is under oxygen therapy and kept on mechanical ventilation and also under constant cardiac monitoring. The student nurse still has not got experience this kind of patient and finds it quite hard to care for the patient with so many equipments connected with him.
