Introduction:
Habitat restoration is the process of renewing and restoring damaged, degraded, or destroyed ecosystems and habitats by human intervention. Human intervention has caused great catastrophical damages to the biodiversity they inhabit causing a loss of habitat. Habitat loss has led to an extinction of many species or is on the verge of extinction. To reverse this trend of habitat loss, there needs to be a conservation of the currently viable habitat and restoration of the degraded habitat. Thereby, restoration resorts to conservation of ecology which is a scientific study of how to protect and restore biodiversity.
