Summary Introduction
Introduction: The air moves into the trachea (windpipe), the beginning of the respiratory tree. The trachea divides into two primary bronchi, the right and left bronchi. The right bronchi are subdivided into the secondary bronchus, which in turn are subdivided into the tertiary bronchus. The tertiary bronchus leads to the large bronchioles, which in turn leads to the terminal bronchioles. The respiratory bronchioles initiate in this zone.
