Person K is a nursing student caring for person M who is 48-year-old being treated for multiple fractures due to a motorcycle accident. The health care provider ordered for a new medication for morphine sulfate liquid suspension 20 mg orally STAT and then q4h as needed for the pain. The medications are ordered in the form of a liquid suspension as person M seems to have difficulty in swallowing the pills due to the result of the trauma.

Explanation of Solution
Before administering the drug morphine sulfate to the patient, person K should have a complete knowledge about the drug. Person K needs to know the following criteria such as:
