The drawing of the building shows there are 20 corners requiring three studs. Studs are installed on single 2x4 bottom sill plates and capped by double 2x4 top plates for the entire length of the walls. Both bottom and top plates are 16-ftlong each. Prepare a list of materials for the wall studs, corner studs, sill plates, and top plates. For each of the materials, show the nominal dimension, number of pieces of each length, the length ofa lumber, and the total linear feet. Estimate the total direct cost and cost per linear foot of wall for furnishing and installing the studs and plates. Assume $0.75/bf for lumber, $30.00/hour carpenters, and $24.00/hr for laborers.
