These molecules are digested and then broken down into basic substances that are used by the organism. There are two main types of nutrients namely, macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients are carbohydrates, protein and fat. Micronutrients include vitamins and minerals.

The substance that a person wants to increase during low carbohydrate, high protein diet.

Given Information:

The six substances that were tested are distilled water, egg albumin, glucose solution, soft drink, starch solution, and potato juice.
