Explanation of Solution

General purpose software is developed to do a variety of jobs. It is not developed for doing limited tasks. It has more features to perform many tasks. General purpose application software are namely word processors, spreadsheets, database management systems, and presentation software. The Word processing software helps to write, edit, and print documents. The spreadsheet software is a popular business tool which is used for performing mathematical calculations. The power point presentation software helps to prepare presentation document which is required in business meetings.

A specialized application programs are special software designed considering the customer's requirement and expectation. They are designed to do advanced computing tasks. Specialized application is available in all different types including graphics, audio, and video editing software, multimedia, artificial intelligence, and mobile application.

Mobile Apps are computer software that are designed to run on mobile phones or cellular devices.
