Interpretation: The E or Z configuration to the double bonds in neoprene is to be assigned. The stereoisomer of neoprene in which the double bonds have the opposite configuration is to be drawn.

Concept introduction: The E or Z configuration of the double bonds is determined by prioritizing the groups attached to the carbon atoms of the double bond. The groups are prioritized on the basis of atomic number of their atoms. The group that contain atom with higher atomic number is given higher priority. When the groups with same priority are on the same side of the double bond the configuration is Z and when the groups are on the opposite side of the double bond then the configuration is E.
