Introduction:

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) or sexually transmitted diseases can be spread by sexual contact between two persons. Bacteria and viruses both serve as the vectors of STIs. If both parents and any of the parent is infected by STI, then inheritance of STI is not necessary. Some STIs do no inherit from one generation to another generation.
