Insect are an air breathing invertebrate animal and possess the body which has segments, including a head, thorax, abdomen, two antennae, three pairs of legs, and usually two sets of wings. Insects are rich in nutrients and are used as edible to eat in many regions of the world.

Insects provide high-quality protein, fatty acids, and other nutrients compared to meat and fish. They are also rich in micronutrients. Some people are habitual to take food in the form of insects from childhood and do not feel disgusting when they are taking it. In Washington, DC grasshopper taco, in Chicago fried bamboo caterpillars, are very famous dishes and are served in many of the restaurants.

The people who are not habitual of eating the insect as food they feel disgusting as if they are asked to try any dish made with insects, because they lack this habit from childhood and sometimes it may also have some ethical believes among the people.

Conclusion

Some people have habit to eat insect as food, from their childhood thus they do not feel disgusting with the idea of eating insects.
