Discounted cash flow:
Discounted cash flow is a process which is used to evaluate the value of an investment based on its future cash flows. The Discounted cash flow analysis finds that the present value of the expected future cash flows uses a discount rate. Hence to calculate the potential investment, the present value estimate is used.

You have worked on the audit for three years and this year you are in charge of the audit. Your assistant is a newly recruited business graduate who has done an accounting course but has no practical experience. Because of the small size of the company there is limited opportunity for segregation of duties. You decide, as in previous years, that the appropriate audit strategy is to obtain evidence primarily through the performance of substantive procedures. You also plan to perform the audit around the computer as the proprietary software is known to be reliable and details of all transactions and balances can be readily printed out. On arriving at the company's premises in December 2019 to perform the final audit on the 31 October 2019 financial statements, you obtain a copy of the year end bank…

In fact, he is showing extreme unprofessional manners and unethical work ethic. Under no circumstance should he be using a company's tools or assets for his own benefit. You can also see he is trying not to get caught by any upper management due to him doing these actions after hours of work. As a manager, a great change I would do differently to make sure Esteban is not using the company's assets for their own benefit, would be coachings and sit down conversations. A sit down conversation can have the employee get an idea on how bad his actions are towards the company. This disciplinary of a coaching would be a written down statement from both manager and employee stating that he or she understands the actions they have done, which could lead to suspension or possibly termination.
