Chapter 26, Problem 16PIAT
Summary Introduction
To review:
The evidences or features, which might be used to ascertain whether the tree of life is in accordance with the three-domain system of classification of the organisms.
Introduction:
The three-domain classification have three categories namely bacteria, archaea, and eukarya. All the microorganisms are under these three categories. Organisms can be classified into one of three domains based on DNA sequences, ribosomal RNAs (rRNA), and the cell membrane.

Even though organisms tend to be of same species, they exhibit different feature or characteristic which is brought about by their adaptation at a certain condition; thus, evolution is dependent on the specific environmental condition the organisms are living in, as well as can be specific to a particular species.
