Convert is a term used to indicate the change in the form, functioning or characters. For example, in respiration, the glucose is converted to carbon dioxide and water in presence of oxygen, here the carbon, hydrogen and oxygen atoms from glucose are rearranged or converted to form water and carbon dioxide.
