Introduction:

The urine formation takes place in the nephron. The blood enters the glomerular capillaries and is filtered by the capillaries. The filtrate then enters the Bowman’s capsule and passes through proximal convoluted tubule, Henle’s tube, distal convoluted tubule and finally the collecting duct. The urine formation involves three processes that are filtration, reabsorption, and secretion.
