Introduction:

Arthropods contain exoskeletons or an armor that acts as a shield and protects the animals from getting external body harm from the surroundings. Also, the protective layer helps in the preservation of water and moisture that helps the animal’s bodies to cool down when the animals are exposed to hot and harsh surroundings. Also, the protective layers help them in acquiring muscles as attachments. However, one of the biggest disadvantages is that the shields block their sensory perceptions.
