Introduction:

The circulatory system refers to the cardiovascular system of the body. This system includes heart and the blood vessels. Blood vessels are basically of three types; arteries, capillaries, and veins. The heart is a muscular organ of the circulatory system that pumps blood throughout the body and the blood vessels carry the blood within them. Circulatory system provides oxygen and nutrients to all the cells of the body through blood vessels.

The circulatory system consists of a pulmonary circuit and a systemic circuit. Pulmonary circuit lies between lungs and heart, while the systemic circuit lies between the heart and the body.
