Gas gangrene is the bacterial infection that is also known as myonecrosis and clostridial myonecrosis and generates a gas in the body tissues in the gangrene. It is the severe form of gangrene that is generally caused by the bacteria called Clostridium perfrienges. The condition is known to be specific to the muscle tissues and it the condition of necrotic damage.
