Chapter 23, Problem 5CR
Summary Introduction
To review:
The concept of a mature community and its sensitivity toward disruption.
Introduction:
Communities undergo succession during their course of evolution. In succession, one species invades a new spot, proliferates, competes with other species, and eventually perish. This gives rise to new species and with time, a dominant species gets itself established, which ultimately, modifies the environment according to its activities.
