Question
Chapter 23, Problem 1SA
To determine
The principles of adaptive cruise control.
Expert Solution & Answer
Answer to Problem 1SA
Adaptive cruise control works on
Explanation of Solution
Given Information:
Adaptive cruise control.
Radar principle:
Adaptive cruise control works on Radar principle. In this system, a radar in the mount at the front and a radar mount at the back of the vehicle. Front radar is adapting next vehicle speed and crossing vehicle speed. This adaptation of speed changes their vehicle speed. It is the latest technology of pilot mode car driving.
Conclusion:
Adaptive cruise control works on Radar principle.
