Introduction:

Flatworms are the organisms that belong to the phylum “Platyhelminthes”. These organisms are protostomes as the first opening of their embryo develops into a mouth. The body structure of flatworm is very simple as they contain a flat body with no body cavity. There is only the gastrovascular cavity in these organisms. They are considered to be the organisms that contain the simplest organs system. Tapeworm is a type of flatworm species.
