Introduction:
The specific B lymphocyte or B cell becomes activated when the foreign antigen is present. On activation, it undergoes clonal selection to form the memory cells along with the plasma cells. The plasma cells produce specific antibodies that go to the site of antigenic invasion by circulating in the lymph.
