Introduction:

Neurons produce neuropeptides in the cell body, and then, they move slowly to other parts of the cell, whereas neurotransmitters are only released from the tip of an axon. Neuropeptides are made up of chains of amino acids. Neuropeptides are otherwise called as neuromodulators. Neuropeptides are released by continuous stimulation. Neuropeptides play a vital role in behavior and experience, including hunger and thirst.
