Summary Introduction

Introduction:

A fungal body is made up of a structure called Mycelium. Mycelium is a mass of threadlike filamentous structures which are interwoven together to form structures called hyphae. Some fungal hypha are non septate and consists of a single continuous cell which is not divided into different compartments. This type of hyphae is known as pseudohypha. Some fungi are found in yeast form only, some as hyphae and few are as dimorphic. They could take any form in different environmental conditions.
