Chapter 20, Problem 5ICA

Assume the vector AM contains an even number of elements. Write a short section of code that will divide the product of the even elements by the sum of the odd elements and place the result in PDS. Note that this must work correctly for any vector as long as it contains an even number of elements. Write the code using two different methods:

a. a for loop without using built-in functions like sum or prod

b. direct matrix operations, no loops.

EXAMPLE: AM = [9 3 5 0.5 10 4]

PDS = 0.25 Detailed calculation: (3*0.5*4)/(9+5+10) = 0.25
