Cloud service models:

• In the cloud-based environment one of the most important and useful things is that we pay for what we use only.
• That is payment can be made on the basis of the usage if the company wants new resources then it can use them and pay for it according to the usage timing.
• On the other hand, if the requirement is for the short term then access the resource for short time and after that leave it, this will save the money and time of implementation of resources for short time.

List of cloud service models:

• Software as a service (SaaS):
• 1. ○ It provides the license of software on the basis of monthly or a fixed time subscription.
  2. ○ It is also called as "on-demand software", provided by many companies such as Microsoft.
• Infrastructure as a service (IaaS):
• 1. ○ It is a normalized, exceptionally mechanized contribution in which processing assets possessed by a specialist organization, supplemented by capacity and systems administration abilities, are offered to clients on request.
• Platform as a service (PaaS):
• 1. ○ It provides a platform for programmers or developers to build, configure, run, and manage various different types of applications.
• Database as a Service (DBaaS):
• 1. ○ It is a cloud computation model, which allows the users to manage, and configure the database by using the common set of abstractions.
