Chernobyl accident was a sudden nuclear accident occurred at light water graphite moderated reactor at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant near Pripyat.
After Chernobyl accident high levels of radioactive iodine was released from the Chernobyl reactor. This radioactive iodine concentrates in the thyroid gland and it was caused for major disease.
