Interpretation Introduction

Interpretation:

The purpose of the poly (A) tail on eukaryotic mRNA has to be determined.

Concept Introduction:

The sequences that do not encode to any amino acids are termed as introns and the transcript that consist of important protein coding regions and introns are collectively called exons. After the RNA splicing, the exons must come together. They are then capped at the 5′ end with the first nucleotide present in the transcript along with a poly (A) tail, and the RNA transcript thus constitutes the mature RNA that is ready for the translation process.
