The traditional way of coordinate measurement includes the tolerance of all the dimensions. The tolerance is indicated by either plus or minus sign with the basic size in a defined form. However, the traditional way of coordinate measurement system lacks in defining all the geometric attributes of a feature such as orientation and form. But the statement i, ii, and iii specify the tolerance for the particular cases. Thus, the traditional coordinate measurement system includes the tolerance to all the dimensions which it defines.
