Concept introduction:
There are circuits through which the blood flows. These pathways are called the cardiovascular pathways. The cardiovascular pathways are of two types: Pulmonary pathway and the Systemic pathway. Through these pathways, the movement of oxygen, carbon dioxide, nutrients, hormones and other factors occur. Both circuits play an important role in maintaining the homeostasis in our body.
