Interpretation: The mode of decay of isotopes of fluorine, namely fluorine-17, fluorine-18 and fluorine-21, with their nuclear reactions.

Atomic nuclei are unstable if the number of protons and number of neutrons are not the same wherein it gets transformed to smaller stable units releasing radiations namely alpha, beta and gamma. If the ratio of neutron to protons is less, the positron is released to stabilize the nucleus but if the ratio is more, then beta particle is released.
