Introduction: The kidney is a bean-shaped organ of about four to five inches present on either side of the spine. Each kidney weighs about 150 grams and is composed of two regions namely outer cortex and inner medulla. It consists of two blood vessels namely renal artery through which the blood enters and the renal veins through which the blood exists out of the kidney.
