COSC 1336 – Programming Fundamentals I Program 3 – Arithmetic Expressions
A county collects property taxes on the assessed value of property, which is 60 percent of its actual value. For example, if a house is valued at $158,000.00 its assessed value is $94,800. This is the amount the homeowner pays tax on. If the tax rate is $2.64 for each $100.00 of assessed value, the annual property tax for this house would be$2502.72. Write a program that asks the user for the actual value of a piece of property and the current tax rate for each $100.00 of assessed value. The program should then calculate and display how much annual property tax the homeowner will be charged for his property.
Run your program three times with the data below and copy and paste the outputs to afile. Create a folder named, fullname_program3. Copy your source code and the output file to the folder.

All coding is in Python. 1.) Rectangle Area The area of a rectangle is calculated according to the following formula: Area= Width * Length Design a function that accepts a rectangle's width and length as arguments and returns the rectangle's area. Use the function in a program that prompts the user to enter the rectangle's width and length, and then displays the rectangle's area. The highest and lowest scores are thrown out and the remaining scores are added together. The sum is then multiplied by the degree of difficulty for that dive. The degree of difficulty ranges from 1.2 to 3.8 points. The total is then multiplied by 0.6 to determine the diver’s score. Write a computer program that will ultimately determine the diver’s score. This program must include the following methods: A method name inputValidScore that inputs one valid score for one judge for one diver. This method will return the valid score. A method named inputAllScores that creates an array to store the scores for all judges for the diver. This method will fill the array with a valid score from each judge. This method does not take input arguments, but it does return the array of scores. A method named inputValidDegreeOfDifficulty that inputs a…arrow_forward
- Exercise 6: Write a program that reads from the user three pieces of information: The current population of a country, the annual birth rate of the country, and its annual death rate. The program should then calculate the expected population for the following year and display the results as shown in Figure 6. Please note that population for the following year is calculated as sum of the current population, and the number of births by the end of the year minus the number of deaths by the end of the same year. Name your program Lab3_Id_ex6.py, where Id is your university Id. Include the design of your solution as comments at the beginning of your program. Test your solution with different input data.
