Introduction: Microorganisms are abundantly found on the Earth. The microorganisms are classified into seven types, namely bacteria, virus, algae, fungi, archaea, protozoa, and parasites. Microorganisms found in the human body is called flora or microbial flora. Normal flora and transient flora are the two types of flora found in the body. Normal flora, also called resident flora, is beneficial to humans and they reside in the body organs. The transient flora enters the body, but not found always. They may be harmless or pathogenic.
